WELCOME TO THE EASTERN SHORE ART CENTER
The Eastern Shore Art Center is located in beautiful downtown Fairhope, Alabama and houses five galleries with exhibits that change monthly, as well a gallery featuring member artists' work for sale. The Academy offers a wide variety of classes and workshops in five spacious studios. Classes are offered on a quarterly basis to both adults and children.
The Art Center is open to the public Tuesday - Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free.
HISTORY OF THE EASTERN SHORE ART CENTER
The Eastern Shore Art Association was founded in 1954 by a group of local artists and art patrons. Construction was begun that same year on a one room gallery on the site of the former Pinewood Pottery that had operated in Fairhope for over twenty years making functional ceramics from local clay.

The Eastern Shore Art Association is pleased to present the 28th Annual Grand Festival of Art held on the beautiful shore of Mobile Bay in downtown Fairhope. This signature event offers an exciting opportunity to display and sell your artwork to hundreds of visitors. There will be a total of $3000 in cash awarded.
The Eastern Shore Art Center is pleased to announce the publishing of a beautiful coffee table book about Fairhope and the Eastern Shore titled “Fairhope and the Eastern Shore – A Painter’s Paradise.”
