The EASTERN SHORE ART CENTER Galleries
Fairhope, Ala. - Opening receptions will be held on First Friday Artwalk, February 1 from 6-8 pm. Wine, beer, and hor d'oeuvres will be served along with live music. Admission is free for members and $2 for non-members.

WHITING GALLERY: African-American Artists


African American art featuring work by local and regional artists including Vanessa Ai, Tina Allen, Michael Banks, Chris Clark, Athlone Clarke, Maurice Cook, BJ Cooper, Sonja Griffin Evans, Booker T. Foster, Marilyn Gordon, Amos Kennedy, Bessie Johnson, Charlie Lucas, Betty Sue Matthews, Sam McMillian, Rogers Murphy, Mary Ann Pettway, Mary Proctor, Annie Tolliver, John Henry Toney, Elmira Sanders, Bernice Sims, Buddy Snipes and Paige Summers.

WOOLLEY GALLERY: Brothers
Fairhope sculptor Bruce Larsen and “Tin Man” Charlie Lucas from Selma will create sculptural works in response to writings by Suzanne Hudson’s creative writing students of Fairhope Middle School.

WILSON GALLERY: Haven Photography Contest
Local photographers of all ages submitted their favorite pet photographs for the 5th Annual Pet Photo Contest. Proceeds from the contest benefit the Haven.

COURTYARD GALLERY: Magic of Mardi Gras

Costumes, floats, float designs and Mardi Gras memorabilia will be part of this colorful exhibit showcasing the design work behind Mobile and Baldwin Counties Mardi Gras. This exhibit will be on display through the month of February.
