FAIRHOPE AND THE EASTERN SHORE - A PAINTER'S PARADISE

The Eastern Shore Art Center is pleased to announce the publishing of a beautiful coffee table book about Fairhope and the Eastern Shore titled “Fairhope and the Eastern Shore – A Painter’s Paradise.” The book is designed to promote Fairhope, the Eastern Shore, local artists and writers to be published Fall 2008. The book will feature one hundred paintings about Fairhope and the Eastern Shore. All proceeds from the book benefit the Eastern Shore Art Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to community education.

CALL FOR LOCAL ARTISTS
The Eastern Shore Art Center is sending out a call to Baldwin and Mobile County artists to submit paintings for possible inclusion in the Art Center’s newest endeavor, a coffee table book entitled “Fairhope and the Eastern Shore - A Painter’s Paradise” which is scheduled for publication in the fall of 2008.

Amateur, professional and student artists are encouraged to submit digital images of their paintings, whose subject matter should relate to the Eastern Shore area. Of the images submitted, approximately 100 will be chosen for inclusion in the book. If an artist’s work is selected, a photograph of the artist and contact information will be included in this hard cover book. This is an excellent opportunity for artists to gain exposure and to showcase their artwork to a large audience.
